- Worship
Our worship centers on the Word of God. For this reason, everything we do in a worship service focuses in some way on the Scriptures. The Scriptures provide the subject matter for our reading, our music, our prayers, and of course our teaching. Our goal is that when you leave ourservice, you will have been confronted by the living Word of God. With this purpose in mind, we maintain a very simple and traditional style of worship throughout our services and other ministries.
- Giving
Our time of giving is an opportunity for our members and regular attendees to contribute to the ongoing ministries of their church. We hope that visitors will not feel in any way pressured to give during the offering time. We trust that the worship and fellowship will be a gift to you, and our prayer is that you will receive the greatest gift, salvation through Jesus Christ.
- Dress
At Vandercook Baptist, we don’t have any set dress code. We don’t believe that certain clothes are inherently more spiritual than others. We do however think that every believer should thoughtfully consider how their appearance reflects the holiness of God. As with any other public setting, we would encourage you to be attired decently and in order.
