Pastor Kyle Vegter has shepherded the flock at Vandercook Baptist since 2007. He received his bachelor's degree from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 2000 where he majored in Church Ministries. He then went on to complete his Masters of Divinity at Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Plymouth, MN in 2005, and he is currently working on a post graduate degree through Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Vegter was raised in a Christian family and became a follower of Jesus Christ as a young boy.
While at Maranatha, Pastor Vegter met his wife, Heidi (Shevy), and they were married in 2002. Since that point, God has blessed them with six children.
